Certification introduction
German Rhine can obtain safety and EMC marks for products sold in the Hungarian market. Global German Rhine can handle Hungarian product safety verification through our partner MEEI. German Rhine can handle Hungarian S-Mark verification, MEEI type verification and MEEI mark verification
If the products applied for S-Mark verification have not obtained other safety verification from lein, Germany, there will be an annual fee to serve foreign customers, and lein will keep all technical documents for 2 years.
Requirements for MEEI certification documents
1. Safety test
·Any CB report plus certificate or German Rhine test report conforming to European standards and containing Hungarian domestic regulations
2. EMC test report
·Test report containing EMI and EMS issued by lein, Germany
3. Other documents
·Test reports mentioned above
·Factory inspection report (for MEEI mark certification: mc-6c inspection report, mc-7 control report, mc-6b investigation report)
·Design drawings, specifications, circuit diagrams
·Temperature rise test results
·Product photos
·Hungarian instruction manual
·Hungarian safety warning text
·EU declaration of conformity (only for s mark and MEEI mark verification)
·Declaration letter of conformity between product and report
·Declaration letter of use of MEEI safety signs (verification of MEEI signs only)
·Security sign contract signed in with MEEI (only for MEEI sign verification)
MEEI certification audit time
Hungarian s mark certificate can be completed 2-3 weeks after all documents are provided
Hungarian MEEI type certificate or MEEI mark certificate can be completed 6 weeks after all documents are provided
