Chemical detection

Test items

Brief introduction

ROHS(lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers)

RoHS is a mandatory standard formulated by EU legislation, which is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electronic and electrical products. Control the content of harmful substances in motor and electronic products to make it more conducive to human health and environmental protection.

Reach (including metal and non-metal detection)

Reach refers to the EU regulation "registration, evaluation, licensing and restriction of chemicals". This is a regulatory proposal involving the safety of chemical production, trade and use. Unlike ROHS directive, reach covers a much wider range. In fact, it will affect products and manufacturing processes in almost all industries, from mining to textile and garment, light industry, electromechanical and so on.

PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons)

2005 / 69 / EC polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) refer to a class of organic compounds with two or more benzene rings. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are hydrocarbons with more than two benzene rings in their molecules, including more than 150 kinds of compounds such as naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene and pyrene.

CPSIA (lead, phthalic acid)

CPSIA affects all industries in the United States that produce, import and distribute toys, clothing and other children's products and care products. All manufacturers shall ensure that their products comply with all provisions, prohibitions, standards or rules of the act. In the content of phthalates, DEHP, DBP and BBP have been permanently prohibited except that DINP, DIDP and DnOP are temporarily prohibited from use until the chap research report is issued.

Phthalates (phthalic acid 6p)

2005 / 84 / EC phthalates are a group of chemical compounds mainly used in PVC materials. Conventional phthalate (fat) detection mainly includes six items (DEHP, DINP, DIDP, DBP, BBP, DnOP), which are referred to as 6p for short.

California 65 (lead, phthalic acid)

California Document No. 65 is a requirement for glassware and ceramics. It requires a warning to be marked on any commodity in California that will discharge carcinogenic or regenerative toxic chemicals. The listed chemicals include lead and phthalic acid.

Azo compounds 2002 / 61 / EC, 2003 / 03 / EC

Azo compound is azo, azo-n = n-a compound formed by connecting two hydrocarbon groups, with the general formula R-N = N-R '. Many azo compounds have carcinogenic effects and are prohibited. Azo free azo control has become one of the most important quality monitoring projects in international textile and garment trade.

Formaldehyde

Formaldehyde is a colorless gas with strong pungent smell. Soluble in water, alcohol and ether. Its 35% - 40% aqueous solution is commonly known as formalin. Textile auxiliaries that make the formaldehyde content of textiles in direct contact with skin exceed 30 ppm and that of all other textiles exceed 300 ppm shall not be used.

Halogen detection (fluorochlorobromoiodastatine)

Halogen compounds are often used as flame retardants in electronic components and materials, product shells, plastics and so on. However, harmful substances will be released in the process of combustion and heating, threatening human health, the environment and the next generation. Therefore, countries are making efforts to limit the halogen content by adopting corresponding methods, which is halogen-free.
