In order to strengthen the supervision of product quality and safety, the State Administration for Market Regulation recently issued a series of management announcements on mandatory product certification (CCC certification). Starting from August 1, 2024, electronic and electrical products such as lithium-ion batteries, mobile power banks, and power adapters/chargers for telecommunications terminal products that have not obtained CCC certification certificates and marked certification marks are not allowed to be shipped, sold, imported, or used in other business activities.
In addition, low-voltage components, electric drying racks with lighting functions, helmets for electric bicycle passengers, explosion-proof lamps and control devices, commercial gas combustion appliances, flame-retardant wires and cables, electronic toilets and other products have also been gradually included in the scope of CCC certification management. Relevant enterprises are required to complete the certification within the prescribed time to ensure that the products meet national standards and safety requirements.
