Introduction to FCC Certification in the United States

FCC stands for Federal Communications Commission in the United States. Directly responsible to Congress, coordinating domestic and international communication by controlling radio broadcasting, television, telecommunications, satellites, and cables, and authorized and managed radio frequency transmission devices and equipment other than those used by the federal government.

According to the relevant parts of the Federal Communications Regulations (CFR 47) in the United States, all electronic products entering the country are required to undergo electromagnetic compatibility certification (FCC certification). At present, the United States has become China's second largest trading partner for several consecutive years, and the trade volume between China and the United States has been increasing year by year. Therefore, exports to the United States should not be underestimated. The rigorous product technology standards and import regulations in the United States are unparalleled in the world. Understanding the market access rules in the United States will help our products further open up the American market. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates the import and use of radio frequency devices, including computers, fax machines, electronic devices, radio receiving and transmitting equipment, radio controlled toys, telephones, personal computers, and other products that may harm personal safety. If these products want to be exported to the United States, they must undergo testing and approval by government authorized laboratories in accordance with FCC technical standards. Importers and customs agents are required to declare that each radio frequency device complies with FCC standards, i.e. FCC licenses.

FCC-ID authentication

1 Explanation

FCC-ID is one of the mandatory FCC certification modes in the United States, suitable for wireless products with high technical difficulty. Products with wireless transmission frequencies, such as Bluetooth devices, WiFi devices, wireless alarm devices, wireless receiving and transmitting devices, telephones, computers, etc., all require FCC-ID certification. The certification of wireless products is directly approved by the FCC TCB agency, and the certification certificate can be found on the official website of the FCC in the United States (www.fcc. gov).
