On February 26, 1986, in accordance with Royal Decree 1614/1985, AENOR was designated by the Ministry of Industry and Energy to carry out these activities and recognized as a standardization body and as a certification body by Royal Decree 2200/1995, issued by Industrial Law 21/1992.
In Spain, AENOR is certified * * and has issued nearly 18000 ISO9001 quality management certificates, over 3000 ISO14001 environmental management certificates, and nearly 72000 products bearing the AENOR logo.
