Elot certification
Elot can apply certification procedures and systems (e.g. ISO certification system).
As amended by law 1682 / 1997 and presidential decree 155 / 1997 on the integration and regulation of Greek company standardization organization, decree 372 / 76 on the establishment and operation of elot entrusts elot to carry out the development of certification activities. According to the ministerial resolution "certification procedure of standardization organization of Greek companies" signed by the Ministry of development, elot can apply the certification procedure and system (e.g. ISO certification system). Under this procedure, elot grants the certification certificate, which is called elot certification certificate, indicating that the product, procedure, behavior, organization, system and individual meet the specification requirements.
For those products that comply with Greek standards, European standards (EN), European experimental standards (CEN), harmonized documents (hd), European Telecommunications Standards (ETSI) and test European Telecommunications Standards (I-ETS), the conformity mark issued by elot, cen or CENELEC or ETSI is granted, which is called Greek conformity mark.
Elot is the joint certification organization authorized to issue these marks.
Elot also uses its equipment and personnel, or an approved third party, to take charge of sampling, testing, inspection, and evaluation of processes and systems.
Product certification
In the general provisions, product certification includes product certification scheme, product certification and specific rules for each product, which are formulated according to relevant ISO / IEC Guidelines and ISO 45000 series standards.
Elot has developed and implemented certification programs in the following areas, including household appliances, cables, reinforced steel, steel, asbestos cement, ceramic tiles, sanitary products, concrete, switches, etc.
